Because my approach focuses on healing both the mind and body I specialize in Functional Neurology assessments and passionately help my patients reach their full potential through through cutting-edge diagnostics and tailored therapies, giving mental clarity and resilience to my patients.

People come to me with a wide range of chronic health issues, including brain fog, persistent low energy, a variety of digestive and skin issues, hormonal imbalances, anxiety, food allergies, and chemical sensitivities. My Story

Dr. Leila entered functional medicine because at one point, she was experiencing the chaos of her own health journey, searching for answers from typical allopathic doctors and having no luck. Having gone through this experience, Dr. Leila can relate to, and sympathize with, every patient she works with.

Now, Dr. Leila is grateful to be living the life of her dreams, through the health of her dreams, without limitations. This is what she aspires to bring every single one of her patients.

Dr. Leila lived a childhood of perfect health. Her mother was passionate about raising her family naturally and relied on supplements, vitamins, herbs, and holistic remedies as opposed to traditional medicine and allopathic doctors. This toxin-free childhood allowed Dr. Leila and her siblings to learn from her mother about these natural healing methods and this turned out to be the most wonderful health-conscious upbringing they could have asked for.

Dr. Leila’s health began to decline when her family, unknowingly, moved into an old farm house that harbored toxic black mold. As symptoms arose, so did concerns.

Dr Leila Doolittle and Nutrition

Despite the healthy lifestyle her family continued to live, two years of living with mold was enough to majorly deteriorate the health that Dr. Leila's family had previously experienced. Combining the root cause of Dr. Leila's health concerns, the toxic black mold, with other stressful and traumatic experiences compounded the deterioration of her health.

One blessing amongst this turmoil was that during these years, the family was able to live a sustainable lifestyle completely off the land. Everything they consumed was grown in an organic garden on their beautiful farm deep in the Ozark mountains. This instilled a deep appreciation in Dr. Leila for the healing benefits contained in every vibrant vegetable.

At the age of 16, Dr. Leila suffered a traumatic brain injury due to a car accident. This escalated her health concerns to a level that impacted her daily life. A vibrant life trajectory for this young and determined teenager was thrown off track from migraines, post-concussion symptoms, and other looming health concerns.

The turning point came when, while in school, Dr. Leila met a Functional Neurologist and Chiropractor. She began working part-time in his practice, and after 3 years of pain and dulled vibrance, this Functional Neurologist was able to answer the seemingly un-answerable questions and bring her back to vibrant health.

Every other doctor could not understand her case, could not answer her questions, and continued to prescribe medications - which Dr. Leila refused thanks to her natural stance on health.  This Functional Neurologist was able to do what no other doctor could: listen, understand, and heal Dr. Leila from the inside out. Thus, Dr. Leila’s career path was redirected from allopathic medical school into functional medicine and neurology.

Through the next 5 years of learning functional wellness for her patients Dr. Doolittle was able to fully restore and reclaim her own health.

This is where her passion lies as her journey was extremely difficult and she simply needed someone, anyone, to understand what she was going through and help her find answers. This journey led Dr. Leila to the place she is today, and now she is able to help patients in their moments of searching for answers and finding true healing.

My Lifestyle

Dr. Leila Doolittle wants everything she does, all that she eats, and every word she speaks to be as natural as possible.

Living the natural lifestyle is of the utmost importance, not only for her health, but to be a walking example of what her patients can attain through her guidance.

In her own words, Dr. Doolittle explains: “Every day that we wake up, we have choices to make. We need not to make these choices out of fear for what could negatively impact one’s health, but make them out of love, empowerment and confidence in ourselves.

This is how we live vibrantly. This is how every single moment we can manifest and create the perfect life that we need and want through complete and total understanding.

From this, every lifestyle approach falls into place. No longer do we have to worry about being stuck in this health struggle with no way out.

What we choose to put on our plates, allow into our bodies, drink every day, and how we consciously think about our health can be reshaped through Functional Wellness.”
