There is no one else even comparable to Dr. Doolittle. I began seeing Dr. Doolittle in late 2019 after two full years of countless doctors and misdiagnosis after misdiagnosis. At the time, I couldn’t make it up a flight of stairs, or make it through the day without taking at least two naps. I couldn’t keep lights on and I couldn’t listen to music or watch tv. I was in insurmountable pain. But the day I met her, even at our very first appointment, she knew exactly what had happened to me. She gave me a correct diagnosis and a plan for action to heal me from the inside out. Now, just one year after having met her, my pain has been cut down 70%, I no longer need naps or help walking. I can work again, and laugh, and sleep without heavy meds that were only causing me more harm. I went from a neurologist who was ready to help me file for disability, at 28 years old, to this wonderful woman, who has taken my emergency phone calls on weekends when I was in too much pain to know what to do. She truly listens to not only my voice, but my body, too, to learn how to help me better. And thanks to her, I have made incredible progress in a healing journey that only began because of her and her wealth of knowledge. However cliche it may sound, it is the absolute truth: I would not be here today without Dr. Doolittle. I am forever grateful for her existence, her friendship, and beautiful brain that seems to always know what to do next.
